Our Activities
Currently, over 500 students throughout the Netherlands are committed to Enactus, an international non-profit organization that brings together students, higher education, and business leaders. As a project member, you are involved in running and/or setting up a social enterprise 8 hours a week. Participation in Enactus UvA not only provides an educational addition to your studies but is also a fun organization with a monthly drink. In addition, various workshops provide even more professional input and knowledge. As a member, you not only learn entrepreneurship and make a social impact, but you also get the chance to develop yourself!
Enactus UvA currently consists of 7 projects, each consisting of 4 to 5 students. These projects are at different stages, one is still conducting a needs assessment and the other is preparing for an exit. Making an exit means that the project becomes a social enterprise, separate from Enactus UvA. All teams are managed by the board, consisting of six part-time board members. The board is responsible for the policy and strategy of Enactus UvA
